Congratulations!

We are happy that you are planning your wedding at The Rock Church. We shall do our best to make this a joyous occasion that you will fondly remember for years to come.

Weddings are considered a worship event at The Rock Church. Due to the spiritual nature of the service, both the bride and groom should be viewed as participants in a worship service. Due to the importance of this spiritual and lifelong commitment being made, The Rock Church requires that all individuals being married in the church adhere to the criteria outlined in the wedding guidelines documents.

Below are two copies of the wedding documents- one is for members of The Rock Church and the other is for non-members / visitors.

Qualifications for membership at The Rock are as follows: a personal repentance of sin and a confession of faith in Jesus Christ, baptism by immersion as a testimony of salvation, completion of the church’s membership class, and a commitment to accept the church’s statement of faith and to abide by the membership covenant.

Being a member of The Rock Church is really about being part of a family. All members are disciples of Jesus, unified by their identity in Christ. Members do not join our church to merely have a place to worship. All members are to be active participants in God’s mission to reach this city and the world with the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
